Coretta Van Wijk

Dutch born Coretta graduated in Interior Design in 1996, and initially worked for two years in The Netherlands, before then moving to London and taking up a role at Brinkworth. Coretta worked here for five years chiefly on retail and office projects including the likes of Whistles, Karen Millen, Esprit and Casio.

Coretta then worked freelance between 2003 and 2006, for Brinkworth, Jasper Conran and Niche Design Consultants- while also developing a range of contemporary glass products successfully launching these at the 100% Design exhibition, and developing her own range of jewellery.

Coretta is now an Associate Director of gpstudio in a project director role- and enjoys creatively motivating the design team and working hands on with clients.

"I thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team- design team and client team- creatively exploring both the macro and the very very micro, then diligently managing this through the required project processes and stages."

Coretta’s spare time is crammed packed with her jewellery designing (which today retails in the likes of Tate Modern), testing her nerve on the Numberberg ring!, through to more genteel well-being yoga retreats.
